The first person of the Triune God, is God The Father. This study looks at who this person of the Trinity is.
First we need to recognize The Father in scripture (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2).
Second we see a subordination of the persons in the Trinity. We see that The Son and The Holy Spirit us subordinate to The Father ( Luke 22:42, John 5:36, John 20:21, 1 John 4:14). This is NOT to say that The Father is greater than the other two or that the other two are some way inferior to The Father. Nor does it deny the divine nature of any other person of the Trinity. It does however reveal a kind of relationship perfectly unifying the persons into one essence, God.
Third, in the clear uniqueness of each person there are different purposes and tasks.
